Hotel Calmo - Wien

The staff were very friendly, the hotel was a bit far from the city center, but public transportation was available nearby. There was no handle to open the bathroom door, and I had to ask for assistance once because I couldn't open it. Also, the bathroom area could have been more modern. Besides that, if you plan to explore Vienna for a few days and are looking for a budget-friendly hotel just for overnight stays, I would recommend it.

the hotel is very ok, the second time here, all the people are very kind (from the reception to breakfast and cleaning), the room is very clean (impeccable bedding), I arrived late in the evening and set a late check-in with them (everything ok), tasty breakfast, everyone very friendly, very good people! we love you, come back next year! the worst experience before even going inside the hotel . we book the hotel one day before and we drive from salzburg to wien thinking that we have hotel room. we arrive there but b|c we didn't now where to park we call the hotel reception the women who answer the telephone was so rude didn't have time to talk to us . we drive down to parking garage and the garage door was closed so we park infront of it my husband go up and talk to her but he book the wrong date for the next day so it wouldn't be fixed . that was not the problem for us even though we have next day booking in the this hotel the women didn't allow us to drive inside the parking garage to just only to turn around and drive out , it was the stressful moment for us with 3 years old in the car to revers the car and come out the uphill , i try to call her to beg her she didnt even up anymore pleas if you read this dont drive down there before you make sure that the gone let u in .bad hotel bad exprience. the funny part is we cant even cancel the booking any more.

I managed to secure a room at an excellent price, and it turned out to be well worth the value. During my two-night stay with my wife, we absolutely enjoyed every moment. The location of the hotel is fantastic, as it is conveniently close to the city center. Moreover, there is a tram service available that takes you directly to the heart of the city. I do regret missing out on the breakfast, as I am certain it would have been delicious. The room itself was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The staff members were genuinely humble and provided exceptional service. I highly recommend this hotel to others without hesitation.

I had an awful feeling from this hotel. Staff are good and nice, but rooms... We were freshly married and went to a few day trip to Vienna, but it's absolutely the worst hotel for pairs. There's no roof lights in the room, only few little bed lights, one of which was broken. Bed for a couple in fact is two separated beds, that were on the rollers, so they were super easy to move apart an we couldn't even cuddle. Just awful. We were very disappointed 😔 there were also little bad things, but after that it's not even needed to talk about
